WEBSITE PLANNING
Write a Portfolio Project Story Without Invented Results
Show what was done, why it mattered and what evidence supports the result.
Separate the project facts
Record the client’s approved description, the starting problem, your role and the delivered work. Distinguish a completed client project from a design concept or internal experiment. Obtain permission for names, images and sensitive details before publication. A concept can demonstrate an approach when it is labeled honestly.
Explain the work concretely
Describe a specific decision and its reason. For example, reorganizing service information may make the next step clearer, but that does not prove it increased leads. Show the before-and-after behavior you can verify and avoid broad claims such as ‘transformed the business’ without supporting evidence.
Handle outcomes carefully
If you have measured results, include the dates, metric definition and relevant limitations. If you do not, describe the delivered capability and what remains to be measured. Give readers a relevant next step without suggesting that another business will obtain identical results. Keep the approved evidence with the project record so future edits do not turn a modest finding into an unsupported promise.
Apply this to your business
Write down the current situation, the decision you need to make and the person who can confirm the facts. North Front Digital can discuss a scoped review through our relevant service overview. When you request a quote, include your website address if you have one and the customer task you want to improve. Deliverables, access, timing and price are confirmed in writing before work begins.
