WEBSITE PLANNING
Create an Honest Customer Review Publishing Workflow
Keep testimonials accurate, permissioned and connected to the real experience they describe.
Keep the original context
Record where the review came from and which service or project it concerns. Obtain the appropriate permission before publishing identifying details outside the original context. Do not write a testimonial on a customer’s behalf or imply that a design concept has a paying client behind it.
Edit only with a clear basis
If a quotation needs shortening, preserve its meaning and avoid changing a qualified statement into a stronger claim. Ask for approval when appropriate. Do not combine phrases from different customers into one quotation. Keep review counts and rating claims tied to verifiable sources rather than adding numbers for visual impact.
Build a maintainable record
Store the source, approved wording, attribution and publication locations together. Assign someone to handle corrections or removal requests through the business’s normal process. A small number of genuine, relevant reviews can give visitors useful context; the website should not manufacture social proof or promise that displaying reviews guarantees a particular search result.
Apply this to your business
Write down the current situation, the decision you need to make and the person who can confirm the facts. North Front Digital can discuss a scoped review through our relevant service overview. When you request a quote, include your website address if you have one and the customer task you want to improve. Deliverables, access, timing and price are confirmed in writing before work begins.
