WEBSITE PLANNING
Inventory the Recurring Costs Behind Your Website
See which services keep the site operating and who is responsible for each renewal.
List the actual services
Record the domain, hosting, business email, booking tools, form delivery and other integrations the business uses. Include the account owner, renewal timing and purpose. Keep payment details and credentials out of an ordinary project document. A website build price may not include every recurring service.
Separate required from optional
Ask what stops working if each subscription ends. An optional design tool used during production is different from the service delivering customer inquiries. Mark costs that are unknown and verify them with the account owner rather than assuming a free trial remains free indefinitely.
Review before changing providers
Identify duplicate services and renewal risks, but do not cancel anything until dependencies are understood. Confirm whether a new care agreement includes hosting or merely manages a separately paid service. Keep the inventory updated when features are added. The goal is a clear operating budget and ownership record, not cutting a service that customers still depend on.
Apply this to your business
Write down the current situation, the decision you need to make and the person who can confirm the facts. North Front Digital can discuss a scoped review through our relevant service overview. When you request a quote, include your website address if you have one and the customer task you want to improve. Deliverables, access, timing and price are confirmed in writing before work begins.
