WEBSITE PLANNING

Write a Website Maintenance Request That Can Be Completed

Provide the page, exact change and business reason so routine updates do not become a long clarification loop.

Identify the current content

Include the exact page address and the text or element you want changed. If the information appears in several places, list the locations you know. Explain whether the old wording is incorrect or whether the business has changed. A request to ‘update services’ is too broad to define a safe edit.

Provide the approved replacement

Supply the new wording, image or link and confirm who approved it. Include effective dates for time-sensitive changes. Do not send credentials through the request. If the change needs copywriting or a new layout, identify that as work to scope rather than assuming it is a simple text replacement.

Define completion

State what you expect to see after the update and whether any related contact or booking path changes. Ask for confirmation of publication and relevant checks. Keep a short record of the request and result. Clear inputs make it easier to distinguish routine maintenance from additional project work under the actual care agreement.

Apply this to your business

Write down the current situation, the decision you need to make and the person who can confirm the facts. North Front Digital can discuss a scoped review through our relevant service overview. When you request a quote, include your website address if you have one and the customer task you want to improve. Deliverables, access, timing and price are confirmed in writing before work begins.
