WEBSITE PLANNING
Prioritize Website Requests When Everything Feels Urgent
Separate customer-blocking defects, inaccurate claims and optional improvements before choosing the next task.
Classify the consequence
Start with unavailable pages, broken inquiry paths and materially incorrect business information. Then consider usability problems and improvements supported by customer questions or analytics. Cosmetic preferences can still matter, but they should not displace a request that is preventing customers from reaching the business.
Make requests comparable
For each item, write the affected customer task, evidence, proposed change and person who can approve the facts. Mark effort or dependencies as unknown until the provider assesses them. Avoid ranking work by how loudly it was requested or by an unsupported promise of more traffic.
Choose a bounded next action
Select work that can be completed and verified, and define what completion means. If a larger request needs research, make that dependency visible while continuing independent fixes. Keep a short deferred list with reasons. A useful queue helps the team finish important work rather than repeatedly starting new pages without resolving existing problems.
Apply this to your business
Write down the current situation, the decision you need to make and the person who can confirm the facts. North Front Digital can discuss a scoped review through our relevant service overview. When you request a quote, include your website address if you have one and the customer task you want to improve. Deliverables, access, timing and price are confirmed in writing before work begins.
