WEBSITE PLANNING

Keep Website Hours and Appointment Instructions Consistent

Avoid conflicting information across contact pages, footers and booking tools when the business changes its schedule.

Define what the hours mean

Separate staffed visiting hours, phone-answering hours and appointment availability. Include the time zone when customers may be elsewhere. If visits require confirmation, state that clearly rather than presenting hours as permission to arrive without an appointment.

Find every published location

Review the contact page, footer, service pages and any connected booking interface. Ask the business owner which source is authoritative. A change in one place should not leave another page promising unavailable hours. Keep third-party profile updates in a separate authorized checklist when applicable.

Plan exceptions

Decide how holidays, temporary closures and changed availability are communicated. Use dates for temporary notices and assign someone to remove them when they expire. Do not invent availability to make the business appear more accessible. Accurate expectations can protect the customer experience even when the actual operating schedule is limited.

Apply this to your business

Write down the current situation, the decision you need to make and the person who can confirm the facts. North Front Digital can discuss a scoped review through our relevant service overview. When you request a quote, include your website address if you have one and the customer task you want to improve. Deliverables, access, timing and price are confirmed in writing before work begins.
