WEBSITE PLANNING
Review a Website at Larger Text Sizes
Capture clipped text, hidden controls and wrapping problems when visitors increase website zoom or text size.
Set up a repeatable reading task
Choose a long service page and the inquiry page. Increase browser zoom and text size using the controls available in the test browser. Record the browser, window width and settings so the developer can reproduce the view. Try reading the main explanation and reaching the contact action without returning to the original display size.
Capture where meaning is lost
Look for clipped text, labels hidden behind icons, sticky headers covering content and controls that disappear outside the viewport. A hypothetical package card may tolerate a short heading but overlap its price when the heading wraps to three lines. Include the exact text and screen setting in the issue. Avoid reducing the font merely to force everything back into the original layout.
Retest the repaired component
Ask whether the fix applies to the shared card or only the sampled page. Check neighboring cards and longer content after release. Review both reading and operation: visible text does not help if its button cannot be reached. This is a focused usability check, not a complete accessibility certification. Preserve the screenshots as regression examples for later content and design changes.
