WEBSITE PLANNING
Website maintenance and ongoing SEO do different jobs.
Keep your site healthy, then decide whether a separate search improvement program makes sense.
Maintenance looks after the site
Care can cover hosting, certificate management, backups, uptime monitoring, relevant software updates, and a limited amount of small content editing. It helps keep the agreed website operating and current. Confirm what is monitored, what is backed up, and how a restore is handled.
SEO is an ongoing improvement process
Search work may include technical reviews, Search Console analysis, page improvements, useful content, and local visibility work. It needs a defined scope and time for analysis and implementation. A maintenance plan does not automatically include an ongoing search campaign.
Measure what you can actually observe
Traffic, inquiries, and owner-confirmed qualified leads are different measures. Search data may arrive with a delay and a submitted sitemap does not prove indexing. Use comparable reporting periods and be cautious about big percentage changes from a very small baseline.
Buy the work your business needs
If your site is accurate and your immediate need is keeping it maintained, care may be enough. If you need to improve search coverage or content, ask for a separate SEO scope with specific work, reporting, and realistic expectations. No provider can promise a particular ranking.
