WORKFLOW PLANNING
Better project details.
A clearer first conversation.
A contractor estimator starts with the information your team needs to review a job. This is a planning guide, not a live calculator or a promise of a fixed job price.
Ask questions that fit the trade
A painter may need surface types and approximate room sizes. A landscaper may need the work area and access constraints. A service contractor may need the issue, general location, and timing. Keep the first request short, and explain when a site visit is required before pricing can be confirmed.
Separate an estimate from a commitment
Any calculated range needs documented assumptions, exclusions, and a clear explanation of what happens next. A submitted request should not claim to reserve a job or confirm an appointment. Photos, measurements, and property information need an appropriate collection and retention plan.
Make follow-up part of the scope
Confirm where requests go, who reviews them, and how duplicate or incomplete submissions are handled. Existing quoting software may fit; a custom workflow requires separate feasibility, cost, and support review. No operational estimator integration is implied by a visual concept.
